Dear Saints,
Blessings and more blessings.
I just wanted to share something that the Lord has been highlighting to me these past few weeks. I sense that many of the forerunners are being weighed and measured by the Lord in terms of the capacity required for the days ahead. And the Lord is preparing every part of the body of Christ to work together effectively.
There is such power and grace to also move forward but we need to be able to confront the irritants in the land.
" 'But if you do not drive out the inhabitants of the land, those you allow to remain will become barbs in your eyes and thorns in your sides. They will give you trouble in the land where you will live.' "
Numbers 33:55 (NIV)
Wherever I go I look at how the territorial spirits of the place operate. They often manifest through certain characteristics and behavioural patterns of the doorkeepers. I find that some of the doorkeepers are emotional in their acting and carry a certain level of pride and entitlement in their position. This saddens me because they are good people who started well, but they did not allow the word of the Lord into their heart to empower them to rise up and defeat the spirits.
In Genesis, God told Cain that “sin is crouching at the door. Its desire is for you, and you must rule over it.” (Genesis 4:7). But Cain did not overcome it and was consumed by his brother’s sacrifice, and ended up killing him.
You will find that these doorkeepers have not ruled over the spirits at the gate and in fact they have become possessed by the very thing they were given authority to rule over.
These people have a deep spiritual heritage – they are called and willing – but they begin to strive through imaginations, projections and false accusations; the enemy’s intention is to defile them and to slow them down.
They see people come through the doors but never become strong enough to man the gates, so they themselves become irritants at the gates of cities and at the gates of breakthrough. With entitlement, they bear images of Christianity but become pawns of Satan. Satan utilises their pride and entitlement to establish a demonic portal, which allows demonic activity to take place without hindrance.
This is one of the spirits that Europe is dealing with.
In the passage of 2 Kings 6, Elisha and his servant were surrounded. He prayed that his servant would see what the Lord was doing as the enemy moved against them.
I want to highlight the place where they were standing. This place is called “Dothan” and it means ‘the place of two wells’.
This is also the place where Joseph was sold by his brothers and thrown into one of the wells and experienced the greatest betrayal.
This is a strategic place that the church has reached. It is a key moment where the church has to make the right decision to master their territory and deal with the Goliaths and the irritants in the land.
The gatekeepers see from afar which allows them to spot the patterns of failure.
And where there is a lack of humility every warning is seen as a rebuke to the doorkeeper.
The alters that they are supposed to take down end up empowering them in a way that even genuine concerns seem like a personal attack.
The doorkeepers’ position is equally important, because when the gate is open it means that something of major importance is taking place either a procession or a call to war.
At this time we need to do this well, the gatekeepers and the doorkeepers working together to defeat the -ites.
It may feel right now, that the church is surrounded- but that is not the case.
There is prayer and a cry taking place all over the world.
When we stop the petty squabbles we will realise that ‘there is more for us than against us’ (2 Kings 6:16).
There is now a great call for humility in this time of weighing and measuring.
- To see and call out what appears to be godly but is in fact ungodly.
- To go back to the deep convictions; for God to reveal and remove what is trying to take over the souls.
- To allow the word of the Lord to rise in our hearts, in order to rule over what is trying to master us and not be consumed.
Many have prayed, and the answer is at the door.
Some are not even seeing it because of where they are at. God is not desperate, He is in control. And if we stop operating in fear and frustration we will have the right keys to move in the most difficult times with peace and ease.
“Where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty”
2 Corinthians 3:17 (KJV)
There is wisdom, power, knowledge and insight.
How sweet and wonderful it is to be called a child of God. Nothing will be hidden from you and that is when you will move and act with great precision.
May God have great mercy on the Church.
In Jesus’ name. Amen.
Adored,
